Jim Frankish
The Vancouver team of the At Home/Chez Soi project, including Jim Frankish, a Professor in the School of Population & Public Health, has received the 2013 BC Health Association Legacy Award from the UBC College of Health Disciplines.
At Home/Chez Soi provides housing, and health and social supports to persons with significant mental illness and addiction.
The BC Health Association Legacy Award is given annually to an individual or group who has made a significant contribution to the development of health policy, health leadership or healthcare governance.
Dr. Frankish and Greg Richmond, Acting Executive Director of the RainCity Housing and Support Society, are named on the award.
The award will be presented at the College of Health Disciplines’ annual Awards Reception on November 18, 2013.
