The Office of Student Affairs was established to provide confidential help, support, and advocacy for all UBC medical students. Each of the program sites has an Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and a Student Affairs Coordinator. The Associate Dean of Student Affairs, Director of Career Planning Program, and Student Financial Assistance Officer work to support all the sites.
As a medical student, you can approach the OSA for help with personal and academic issues, financial concerns, and for support for various student initiatives, such as health and wellness ideas, charitable projects, class plays, and other student-led events.
We are here for you! The OSA is a good place to start looking for help with just about anything in medical school.
