Both the UBC Student Financial Assistance and Awards Office and the Faculty of Medicine have emergency student loan programs. These loan funds are designed to assist students in exceptional and unexpected circumstances while in studies. Students must demonstrate having exhausted all other means of financial assistance available for their current academic session to be considered.
