Faculty of Medicine, Dean’s Office, Research provides various aspects of Grant Writing Support to help investigators and teams improve their success rates in peer-reviewed funding competitions. Research Grant Development Officers offer in-depth grant writing support, substantive editing, and iterative proposal development for any FoM faculty member, and work closely with the SPARC (Support Programs to Advance Research Capacity) Office to coordinate Internal Review. In addition to Grant Development, the Research Grant Development Officers organize educational activities, such as research forums and information sessions.
Another resource that may be useful is the Statistical Consulting and Research Laboratory (SCARL). The services SCARL provides cover the spectrum of statistical design and analysis, as well as ancillary areas.
