1. Innovative Curriculum on Health Advocacy
A news story on the innovative way of teaching health advocacy to residents.
Led by Dr. Roger Wong, Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine and Assistant Dean for Faculty Development, the program was part of an innovative curriculum called “Advocacy in Action”, which teaches postgraduate residents how they can fulfill the Health Advocate competencies specified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeones of Canada. “Advocacy in Action” emphasizes experiential learning.
